The AHWA believes that the public needs good information in order to make good decisions.

We are participating in the the following initiatives:

• Community Aquatic Monitoring Program (CAMP) in order to build baseline data about the ecological health of the Harbour which can be used to monitor the effects of landuse changes (learn more).
• Erosion Monitoring (read more)
• Provincial Watershed Caucus (read more)

We would also like to extend our volunteer monitoring program to include reporting of violations of provincial or federal environmental regulations.

We are also interested in research on ecological, social or cultural issues relevant to the Harbour watershed
